Dear New Women in Action Member:
Thank you for your interest in Women in Action.
As our mission states, Women in Action focuses on personally and collectively influencing the future of the community.
This is accomplished in a number of ways, including: |

Holding
monthly luncheons featuring speakers of remarkable accomplishment,
leadership and insight
-
Coordinating
a mentoring program for at-risk 5th grade girls
-
Providing
information, support and contacts to assist members in meeting their
personal
and professional goals.
Monthly
luncheons are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to
1:00 p.m.
Membership is open to anyone who identifies with the WIA mission and supports
the purposes of Women in Action.
We welcome women and men.
All members
receive the WIA membership directory, which is an excellent resource for
networking.
Members also receive a monthly WIA newsletter.
Volunteer opportunities range from an occasional contribution to a
yearly commitment to a standing committee.

as a benefit of membership. A new directory is printed each Fall, with update
inserts issued during the year.
